i allow commenting on my posts. here are three things to keep in mind:
privacy
i will never, ever, ever email you if you post a comment, unless you specifically request me to. feel like using a bogus email address? feel free, i do it all the time. i think it’s a smart thing to do. feel like using a real email address? knock yourself out. i’m not gonna use it, though, give it to anybody else, keep it, nor wallpaper the walls of my room with it.
comments being deleted
i will delete comments at will. it’s my site, so i can do that. comments that get deleted tend to be spammy, aggressive, irrational or just plain ignorant.
contacting me
i can’t verify that i will respond to all comments. i’m a pretty busy, pretty easily distracted person. however, if you really do want to talk with me directly, type what you want to say in the text box below and click the “submit” button, and it’ll get emailed to me:
i’ve gotten jobs and places to live and met some incredibly decent people via contact forms on websites, and this is an entirely selfish thing for me to do. =)
